Objective and Purpose of the Assignment
The Provincial Planning & Development Office of Bataan would like to focus on urbanization and emobility initiatives in the diagnostic, as it is the government priority.
New experts were proposed to
complete the activities.
This will help the government of Bataan Province to plan, design, and maintain
modern, sustainable, and climate and disaster resilient transport infrastructure and facilities;
provide
responsive, reliable, and efficient transport services;
and establish, develop, regulate, manage, and
operate a rationalized regional transport system in support of enhanced competitiveness, disaster
resilience, and living conditions in the region.
The PPDO would like to focus on urbanization and emobility initiatives in the diagnostic, as it is the government priority.
New experts were proposed to

Scope of Work
The expert will discuss the low carbon transport strategy for Bataan province and assess current market
situation for electrical vehicles (EVs) and EV charging station.
Detailed Tasks and/or Expected Output
1.Assess current market situation for EVs and EV charging station, including the statistics and
specification of EVs/EV charging stations available;
2.
Discuss low carbon transport strategy for Bataan province, including introduction of EVs;
3.
Discuss government support and relevant regulations regarding EVs/EV charging stations;
4.
Identify opportunities for development of EV charging stations and future potential for electric
vehicle market in PHI and Bataan Province;
5.
Identify risks and limitations for development of EV charging stations;
6.
Scope of services
The expert will discuss the low carbon transport strategy for Bataan province and assess current market situation for electrical vehicles (EVs) and EV charging station. Detailed Tasks and/or Expected Output 1.Assess current market situation for EVs and EV charging station, including the statistics and specification of EVs/EV charging stations available; 2. Discuss low carbon transport strategy for Bataan province, including introduction of EVs; 3. Discuss government support and relevant regulations regarding EVs/EV charging stations; 4. Identify opportunities for development of EV charging stations and future potential for electric vehicle market in PHI and Bataan Province; 5. Identify risks and limitations for development of EV charging stations; 6. Further information as required for completion of due diligence. 7. Provide inputs for the Diagnostic and finalize it by incorporating comments from stakeholders.
