Methodology & quality control

Every number needs a source, timestamp and confidence level

Opportunities are collected only from official or permitted sources. FANAB discloses retrieval status and coverage limits, and never substitutes unverified data when a source is unavailable.

Monitored sources

Current monitoring covers the World Bank, ADB, AfDB, IsDB, AIIB, OPEC Fund, EBRD and UNDP.

Collection and validation

Records are checked for an official URL, current status, publication date or deadline, duplicates and tender relevance.

  • Remove expired opportunities
  • Retain the latest valid snapshot during outages
  • Show per-source health and coverage
  • Link directly to the official notice or document

Document-grounded classification

Contract type, technical subject and geography are inferred from official titles, objectives, scope, activities and deliverables. Evidence level and confidence are disclosed; a generic title alone does not create a specialist classification.

Profile alignment, not a win probability

A company-specific score measures evidence coverage against extracted criteria. It is not a calibrated probability of winning, shortlist assurance or a substitute for a legal, financial and technical go/no-go review.

Source states and corrections

Current, partial retrieval and temporarily unavailable are distinct states. A user search never starts a heavy external scrape; verified snapshots are served with their check time, while the official notice governs amendments and deadlines.
