L'objectif du projet est de contribuer à l’amélioration du système de transport en RDC ainsi que des conditions de vie et de la résilience des populations de la zone. De manière spécifique, le projet vise à : (i) améliorer le niveau de service de la chaine logistique de transport routier sur les tronçons Mbuji-Mayi – Lukalaba-Ngandajika et Lukalaba-Ngandajikaetd’accroitre les capacités d’accueil et de traitement des trafics passant par les aéroports de Mbujimayi et de Kananga ; (ii)renforcer des capacités des acteurs du transport multimodal (route et voie aérienne) ; et (iii) accroitre l’autonomisation économique des populations riveraines ainsi que leur résilience face aux effets du changement climatique.
