Funding Details The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project. Information on the Project Project Description: City Trolleybus Communal Enterprise, a municipal public transport operator owned by the City of Kryvyi Rih received loan financing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to finance the renewal of Company’s trolleybus fleet and modernisation of selected trolleybus infrastructure. The proposed Project, which had initial total estimated value of EUR 10.5 million equivalent, will require the procurement of the following remaining contracts using the proceeds of the loan: - Modernisation of traction substations The contract for Supply of low-floor 12m trolleybuses (including diagnostic equipment, tools, spare parts and associated services) has been awarded completed. The City's contribution finances the repair of catenary network, modernisation of trolleybus depot, capital repair of existing trolleybus fleet and other works. The procurement of these works is carried out outside of ECEPP in accordance with the Ukrainian legislation. Other Information Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
