General Procurement Notice 1. Funding Details The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project. Additional financing information: The Project benefits from a grant provided by the EU NIP to support the financing of CAPEX and Technical Cooperation. A total of €27.95 million in grant funding will be used to finance several project components: 8 contracts under the Saïss component, 7 contracts under the Garet component, and 4 contracts under the ABH Sebou component. This last component is aimed at purchasing monitoring equipment and providing governance support to ABH Sebou for the monitoring and management of the Saïss water table. 2. Information on the Project Project Description: The project will finance works aiming at: (i) the construction of key components of the Saiss irrigation network comprised of the main distribution pipeline as well as the primary and secondary distribution networks (the Saiss II component); and (ii) the rehabilitation and modernisation of the water distribution network and conversion to drip irrigation of the Garet irrigation perimeter (the Garet component) (altogether, the Project). Other Information Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
