Information on the Project Project Description: The Project's objective is to support modernisation of the primary district heating system in the City of Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia. The procurement of the following goods, works and services is yet outstanding: • construction of new pipelines extending the district heating services to areas currently served by inefficient and heavily polluting local coal-fired boilers; • supply and installation of heat meters with smart metering and software; • replacement and upgrading of valves with remote control and steering; • Corporate Development Programme and capacity building services.
