The consulting services shall include, but not be limited to, the following: • Conduct environmental and social baseline assessments. • Identify and assess potential environmental and social risks and impacts associated with the proposed laboratory during construction and operation. • Develop appropriate environmental and social mitigation and monitoring measures. • Undertake stakeholder engagement and consultations with relevant stakeholders. • Recommend institutional arrangements and capacity-building measures for effective ESMP implementation. • Prepare a comprehensive Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) that complies with the World Bank Environmental and Social Framework (ESF), applicable Environmental and Social Standards (ESSs), and relevant national environmental legislation. The assignment is expected to be completed within four (4) to five (5) months from the date of contract signing. 4. Eligibility and Shortlisting Criteria The Botswana Medicines Regulatory Authority (BoMRA) now invites eligible consulting firms ("Consultants") to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they possess the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the assignment.
