The specific objective is to improve road transport infrastructure and services in Zambia through development of the priority road corridor and reduction of transport costs between northwestern Zambia and Northern Angola to the port of Lobito. This is to facilitate cross-border and foster economic growth through reduction of the cost of doing business, regional co-operation and integration, and attracting private sector investment.
