The Kingdom of Cambodia has applied for financing in the amount of US$ 100 Million equivalent from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB or the Bank) toward the cost of the Climate Adaptive Irrigation and Sustainable Agriculture for Resilience (CAISAR) project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, non- consulting services and consulting services to be procured under this project under sub component 2.1 and sub component 3.3. This project will be co-financed jointly and in parallel by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the Green Climate Fund (GCF). The total project cost is USD240 million. 2. The project will include the following components: The project will include the following components: Component 1. Farm-level Climate Adaptation and Resilience, and water use efficiency Component 2. Upgrading and Climate-proofing Water Infrastructure for Increased Resilience. Component 3. Strengthened Institutional and Regulatory Capacity for Low-emision Climate-resilient Development Pathways. Procurement of contracts financed by the Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the Bank’s Directive on Procurement Instructions for Recipients (July 26, 2024) (Procurement Instructions), and is open to all eligible firms and individuals as defined in the *OFFICIAL USE ONLY Procurement Instructions. 1 After project/loan negotiations, the Bank shall arrange the publication on its external website of the agreed initial procurement plan and all subsequent updates once it has provided a no objection. 4.
