General Procurement Notice 1. Funding Details The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project. Additional financing information: The Project will benefit from (i) EUR 7.8 million investment grant from Western Balkan Investment Framework (WBIF) and (ii) EUR 0.5 million grant from the Climate Investment Funds (CIF), as well as the EBRD loan for EUR 26.4 million, bringing the total project cost to EUR 34.7 million. 2. Information on the Project Project Description: The loan proceeds will be used to finance the construction of (i) 400/110kV substation near Miletkovo, (ii) new connection and rehabilitation of the existing 110kV transmission lines and substations in and between Miletkovo, Valando and Strumica, and (iii) develop a training center for high voltage grid operators and other sectoral specialists.. Other Information Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents.
