TA-10662 AZE: Support to the Preparation of the Absheron Circle Line Project - ICS-02 Railway Electrification and Power Supply System Specialist (E-059437-001)

The expert will support ADY in the preparation of technical specifications and implementation planning in the bid documents, technical bid evaluation reports for the electrification and signaling, and telecommunications (EST) projects, with specific focus on envisaged Absheron train services. Detailed Tasks and/or Expected Output 1. To prepare technical specifications of the bidding documents for the Baku-Boyuk Kesik line prepared by ADY. 2. To review final bid documents for the Baku-Boyuk Kesik line from ADY. 3. To provide technical expertise in technical bid evaluation reports for the electrification and signaling, and telecommunications (EST) project, along 2 railway sections (Bilajari-Yalama and Baku- Boyuk Kesik). Minimum Qualification Requirements (i) A bachelor’s degree in engineering or other related fields, preferably with relevant post-graduate qualifications. (ii) At least 10 years of experience in the field of railway engineering, EST and related fields; (iii) Experience working on projects in developing countries and in Central and West Asia is an advantage.
